MICHAEL J. CADDICK, MANAGER
Professional Responsibility:
Mr. Caddick joined SRI in January 1994. In his role as Vice President, he is responsible for the completion of client engagements, identification of new business opportunities, and effectively communicating with client management. His other duties include:
- Preparation/Review of Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Cross Cost Reports
- Prior-Year Medicare, Medicaid Cost Report Compliance Reviews
- Wage Index Studies
- Bad Debt Logs Preparation/Review
- PRRB Appeals
- Medicare Audit Support
- Review of Contractual Allowance Reserves for all Payors
- Analysis of Managed Care Reimbursement Enhancement Programs
- Managed Care Contracts Analysis
- Strategic Pricing Analysis
Background and Experience:
Mr. Caddick has over 22 years of Health Care experience. Prior to joining SRI, Mr. Caddick served for ten years at a 250-bed community hospital as Manager of Budgeting and Reimbursement. In this capacity he was responsible for the planning and coordination of the hospital�s annual budget processes, in addition to the preparation of the long-range financial plans. Mr. Caddick was also responsible for the negotiation of managed care contracts as well as the monitoring and follow-up of payments received for compliance with the applicable agreements. Other duties included the preparation of all Third Party cost reports and financial analysis relating to Cost Accounting, utilization management, and all new programs, proposals, etc.
Mr. Caddick began his career as an assistant Medicare auditor with Blue Cross of Illinois. Within two years Mr. Caddick had attained the position of senior auditor.
Professional Credentials:
Mr. Caddick earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with a Major in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University in 1981. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Illinois C.P.A. Society.
